Product Import

Import error: Duplicate product

The same product appears more than once in the import file.

What does this error mean?

The error "Duplicate product" means our system detected that this product already appears elsewhere in the same import, or you already have an active offer for this exact product. To avoid creating conflicting offers, the duplicate entry is skipped.

Why does this happen?

  • Repeated rows: The same product appears multiple times in your import file (same name or SKU).
  • Existing offer: You already have an active offer for this product in the marketplace. The system prevents creating a second offer for the same product from the same merchant point.

How to fix it

  1. Remove duplicates from your file: Before importing, check your file for repeated product names or SKUs and remove the duplicates.
  2. Update existing offers: If you want to change the price or availability of an existing product, use the product update feature instead of re-importing.
  3. Check different variants: If the products are actually different variants (e.g. different colors), make sure the names include the variant details to distinguish them.
