How to place an order

A step-by-step guide to placing an order on IVO — from the cart to the confirmation page.

Step 1 — Review your cart

After adding products, go to your Shopping Cart. Here you can:

  • Check the products, quantities and prices.
  • Adjust quantities or remove items (move them to favorites).
  • Review price or availability warnings — if a price has changed or stock has decreased since you added the item, a banner will inform you.
  • Apply a voucher code in the coupon field (see How to apply a voucher code).
  • Check the Order Summary on the right: subtotal, voucher discount, shipping cost and total.

When everything looks good, click Continue to proceed to checkout.

Step 2 — Choose a delivery method

On the checkout page you'll see two delivery tabs:

OptionDescription
Delivery at your doorA courier delivers the package to the address you select. Choose an existing address or add a new one.
Delivery at a delivery boxThe package is sent to a self-service delivery box. Select a box on the interactive map. Some oversized products may not be eligible for box delivery — those will still be shipped to your door.

Each delivery group shows the estimated delivery date and shipping cost per merchant.

Step 3 — Select billing data

In the Billing Data section, select or add the billing information that will appear on your invoice. You can choose between Individual (personal) and Legal Entity (company). For details, see Personal billing or Company billing.

Billing data is required — the merchant needs it to issue a fiscal invoice for your order.

Step 4 — Choose a payment method

Select one of the available payment methods:

  • Card payment — pay online with Visa or Mastercard (via Moldindconbank).
  • MIA — pay using the MIA mobile payment app.
  • Payment terminal — pay in cash at a BPay, Paynet, RunPay or Qiwi terminal.
  • Bank transfer — pay at a bank branch.
  • Post office — pay at a Poșta Moldovei office.

If you have an IVO Wallet balance, a checkbox will appear to use it. The wallet amount will be deducted from the total, and you only need to pay the remainder with the selected method. If the wallet fully covers the order, no additional payment is required.

Step 5 — Review and place the order

At the bottom of the checkout page you'll see the Summary: products cost, voucher discount (if any), delivery cost and the Total to pay.

Click Continue to place the order.

  • For card / MIA — you will be redirected to the bank's secure payment page. After successful payment you'll return to the confirmation page.
  • For terminal / bank / post office — you'll see an instructions page with the payment details (order code, amount, deadline). The same instructions are also sent to your email.

Step 6 — Confirmation

After the order is placed you'll see a confirmation page with:

  • Your order code.
  • A note that a confirmation email has been sent.
  • A summary of deliveries — grouped by address or delivery box, with estimated delivery dates.
  • A Review your order button to go to the order details page.

Good to know

  • You must be logged in to complete checkout.
  • If a product becomes unavailable while you're checking out, it will be automatically moved to your favorites and you'll be notified.
  • If you're a first-time buyer, the system defaults to delivery box as the shipping method. Returning customers get the same settings as their last order.
  • Orders with unpaid terminal / bank / post office payments will be automatically cancelled if not paid by the end of the next working day.
