What is a refund voucher?
When a return is approved and the original payment was not made by debit or credit card, the refund is issued as a refund voucher linked to your billing profile. This voucher acts as store credit that you can use for future orders or cash out.
If the original payment was made by card, the refund is returned directly to the same card.
Key details
- Format: Each voucher has a unique code like
IVO-XXXX-XXXX - Validity: Refund vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue
- Billing profile: The voucher is tied to the billing profile used in the original order
- Balance: You can use it partially — the remaining balance carries over for future use
Refundable vs non-refundable
Some vouchers are marked as refundable, meaning you can request a cash-out to your bank account or via Poșta Moldovei. Non-refundable vouchers can only be used for purchases on IVO.md.
