What is personal billing data?
Personal billing data is used when you purchase as an individual (not a company). The invoice will include your name, personal identification code (IDNP), and address. This is the default billing type for most customers.
How to add personal billing data
- Go to My Billing Data from the user menu (or click Manage Invoice Data on your dashboard).
- Click Add New Billing Data.
- Select Individual as the type.
- Fill in the required fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Your full name as it should appear on the invoice. |
| Personal Code | Your IDNP (personal identification number) — up to 13 digits. |
| Address | Your full address: street, number, zip code (MD-XXXX format), city, and state. You can also add block, entrance, floor, apartment, and intercom details. |
| Phone | Your contact phone number. |
- Click Continue to save.
Quick add from a delivery address
If you already have delivery addresses saved in your account, you can quickly create personal billing data by copying a shipping address. The address fields will be pre-filled, and you'll only need to add your name and personal code.
Using personal billing at checkout
During checkout, in the Billing Data section:
- Click Change.
- Make sure you're on the Individual tab.
- Select the billing entry you want to use, or add a new one.
The invoice for your order will then be issued with your personal details as the buyer.
Editing or deleting personal billing data
On the My Billing Data page, each entry has Edit and Delete buttons. Click Edit to update any field, or Delete to remove the entry. You can have multiple billing entries saved on your account.
Why is billing data required?
Billing data is required at checkout because merchants are legally obligated to issue fiscal invoices for every sale. Your billing information (name, identification code, and address) is included in the invoice as buyer details. Keeping your billing data accurate ensures you receive correct invoices for your records.
