Invoice format
All invoices on IVO.md are generated as PDF files (Portable Document Format). PDF is a universal format that preserves the exact layout of the document, including tables, logos, and signatures.
How to open a PDF invoice
Most modern devices can open PDF files directly:
On a computer (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Simply click the invoice link — it will open in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari all have built-in PDF viewers).
- If you downloaded the file, double-click it. It will open in your default PDF reader (Preview on macOS, Edge or Adobe Acrobat on Windows).
On a phone or tablet (Android, iOS)
- Tap the invoice link — it opens in your browser's built-in viewer.
- If downloaded, open it from your Files app (iOS) or Downloads folder (Android). Both systems have built-in PDF support.
Cannot open the file?
If the PDF does not open, try the following:
- Update your browser — older browsers may not support PDF viewing. Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
- Install a PDF reader — if your device does not open PDFs natively, install a free reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (available for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS).
- Check your downloads — the file may have been saved to your device. Look in the Downloads folder.
- Try a different browser — some mobile browsers may not display PDFs inline. Switch to Chrome or Safari.
Printing an invoice
To print an invoice, open the PDF file and use the print function of your browser or PDF reader (Ctrl+P on Windows/Linux, ⌘+P on macOS). You can also use the print icon in most PDF viewers.
