Warranty coverage
Products purchased on IVO come with a manufacturer's warranty. The coverage depends on whether the purchase was made as an individual or as a company.
Warranty duration
| Purchase type | Duration | How it's determined |
|---|---|---|
| Individual (B2C) | 2 years | Default for all personal purchases |
| Company (B2B) | 1 year | When company billing data was used for the order |
The warranty period starts from the delivery date — the day your order was delivered and confirmed.
What is covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects — problems that arise from the product's design or production, not from normal wear or misuse. Common covered issues include:
- Product stops working entirely
- Intermittent or recurring failures
- Hardware defects (display, battery, connectivity)
- Software malfunctions (for electronic devices)
- Missing components that should have been included
What is NOT covered
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Misuse — damage caused by improper use, drops, liquid exposure, or operating outside recommended conditions
- Unauthorized repairs — modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized third parties
- Physical damage — scratches, dents, cracks, or cosmetic damage from normal use
- Normal wear — gradual degradation expected with regular use (e.g. battery capacity decline)
- Consumable products — food, drinks, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, and other items with a limited shelf life are not covered by warranty
Products without warranty
Certain product categories are excluded from warranty coverage entirely:
- Food and beverages
- Cosmetics and personal care
- Cleaning products and household consumables
- Other items marked as non-warrantable by the merchant
These products will not appear in your My Warranties page.
