HyperX Origins 2 1800 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Wired USB-C to USB-A, Hot-swappable Red Linear Switches, 8000Hz Polling Rate, RGB Backlit, Black
Description
The HyperX Origins 2 1800 is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard designed for those who want the functionality of a full-size layout in a more compact 1800-style form factor. It features factory-lubed HyperX Red Linear switches with POM half-wall stems and a short 1.8 mm actuation distance, which ensures smooth keystrokes over a lifespan of up to 80 million presses. Because the board is hot-swappable, you can easily replace these red linear switches with most 3-pin or 5-pin alternatives to customize the typing feel without soldering. To ensure stability and sound quality, the keyboard is built with a polycarbonate plate and a silicon O-ring mount, complemented by a removable silicon weight. The high-profile housing includes flip-down feet so you can adjust the typing angle for better wrist comfort. For performance, it supports a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz, providing extremely low latency during fast-paced gaming sessions on PC or consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Customization is handled through the HyperX NGENUITY software, where you can manage three different profiles, remap keys, create macros, and adjust the RGB backlighting. The unit connects via a detachable wired USB-C to USB-A cable measuring 1.8 meters, making it easier to transport or replace the wire if needed. With dimensions of 387.9 x 139.7 x 45.9 mm, this keyboard fits well in various desk setups while remaining compatible across multiple gaming platforms.
