To ensure durability and stability, the wood is carefully selected and technically dried before being treated with a natural finish of linseed oil and beeswax, making the surface safe for direct contact with food. An ergonomically carved handle makes it easy to carry from the kitchen to the table, while the natural characteristics of the oak mean that the grain and color will vary slightly from piece to piece. Because these are handmade from natural materials, you may notice minor dimensional differences of about 1 to 4mm, giving each board its own unique character.
