The Planet VIP-480FS is a VoIP router and internet telephony gateway designed to integrate traditional phone systems with modern IP networks. Powered by a TI DSP processor, it ensures stable voice transmission while remaining compliant with both SIP and H.323 standards. You can connect up to four analog phones via the FXS ports, allowing for up to four concurrent voice connections. Connectivity is handled through a Gigabit WAN port for high-speed internet access and four 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports for your local network devices. The device supports essential networking functions such as NAT, virtual server, and PPPoE, DHCP, and DDNS clients to simplify your setup. Housed in a black casing measuring 260 x 130 x 40 mm, the gateway is managed through a web interface or Telnet and operates within a temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C.
