The MCHOSE UT98, created in collaboration with Unbox Therapy, is a 98% compact keyboard designed to balance a full set of keys with a smaller desk footprint. It offers versatile tri-mode connectivity, allowing you to switch between Bluetooth 5.0, a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, or a stable USB-C wired connection depending on your setup. The typing experience is centered around linear Icy Creamsicle switches and a gasket mount structure, which, combined with five layers of dampening material, helps reduce noise and vibration for a smoother feel. Visually, the keyboard features a striking Retro Therapy color scheme with a palette of white, grey, and orange tones. Its build includes a practical aluminum volume knob for quick audio adjustments and specialized keys, such as an enlarged 2U0 key and a dedicated calculator function. To ensure long-term use, the switches are hot-swappable, meaning you can change them without soldering, and the 10,000 mAh battery provides extended wireless endurance between charges via the USB-C port. This model is compatible with both Windows and macOS, and it comes with dedicated Mac keycaps to ensure a seamless transition between operating systems. You can personalize the SoftLight RGB backlighting and remap keys using the MCHOSE HUB software. The package includes everything needed to get started, including the wireless receiver, a USB-C cable, and the necessary pullers for maintaining the switches and keycaps.
