The JBL Charge Essential 3 SE is a portable cylindrical speaker designed for those who need reliable sound on the go. It delivers a total output of 40 W RMS through a combination of a 30 W woofer and a 10 W tweeter, supported by dual pumping bass radiators and an optimized long excursion driver to ensure a full audio experience across a frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Wrapped in a durable fabric with rubberized ends, the speaker is built to withstand shocks and drops. Its IP67 rating means it is completely dustproof and waterproof, allowing it to handle short immersions in water without any issues. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, supporting SBC, AAC, and LC3 codecs, while Auracast compatibility lets you synchronize multiple speakers for a wider soundstage. The internal 7500 mAh battery provides up to 20 hours of playtime depending on your volume settings and takes about 4 hours to fully recharge via the USB-C port. This same port allows you to use the speaker as a power bank to charge your mobile devices, making it a practical companion for outdoor trips or long days at the beach.
