The Hertz ML 280.3 Legend is a high-performance tweeter from the Mille Legend series, designed to bring clarity and detail to your car's audio system. It features a 35 mm dome made from Tetolon Fiber—a specialized blend of silk and cotton with damping impregnation—which helps produce a smooth, natural sound across a frequency range from 1 kHz to 28 kHz. To ensure precision, the dome geometry and magnetic flux are FEA optimized, while a copper short circuit ring extends the high-frequency response for better transparency. Built for durability and acoustic stability, the tweeter uses a CNC machined solid aluminium block for its frame and rear load chamber, paired with a die-cast aluminium face plate. Inside, a neodymium magnet and a 28 mm voice coil handle peak power up to 180 W with a sensitivity of 92 dB. The design incorporates high-density damping material under the dome and low-density absorbing material in the rear chamber to minimize unwanted resonances. With a shallow mounting depth of 13.5 mm, this component fits easily into tight spaces in your vehicle's interior. It is compatible with all Mille speaker sets except the MLK 165.3 and comes with included grilles for protection.
