The ESB 8.028 high-frequency speakers from the 8000 series are designed to bring precise treble to high-quality car audio systems. These tweeters feature a 28 mm soft dome made from Torcon®, a specialized Polyphenylene Sulfide PPS reinforced with high-performance fibers, which is shaped with a semi-catenary profile to optimize sound dispersion. To ensure stability and clarity, the drivers utilize a vented neodymium motor magnet and a construction of brass, stainless steel, and Avional aluminum, all crafted through a precise CNC process. With a nominal power handling of 110 Watt and a frequency response ranging from 940 Hz to 25 KHz, these components provide a detailed sonic experience. The design includes dB Cloth® damping material under the dome and a center ventilation hole for cooling, helping the speakers maintain performance during intense use. They operate at a nominal impedance of 4 Ohm with a sensitivity of 94 dB, making them suitable for use as standalone drivers in active front stage installations or as part of the 8.6K3 and 8.6K2 speaker systems, ideally mounted using the recommended aluminum threaded ring.
