The DJI Mic Mini 2S is a portable wireless lavalier microphone system designed for clear vocal recording. It uses an omnidirectional pickup pattern to capture sound from all directions and features AI noise canceling to help isolate voices from background distractions. For those needing high dynamic range, the system supports 32-bit float internal recording, ensuring audio doesn't clip even during loud peaks. The transmitter is remarkably light, weighing about 12 g with its magnetic front cover, and can operate for approximately 11 hours on its 124 mAh battery. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 6.0, allowing for a maximum transmission distance of 400 meters when used with the dedicated receiver. This receiver is equally compact, weighing 19 g and providing around 10 hours of battery life. The set includes a variety of mounting and connection options, such as a magnetic clip, two different colored magnetic front covers in glaze white and obsidian black, and a USB-C mobile phone adapter. A 3.5mm TRS camera audio cable and a windscreen are also provided to ensure versatility across different recording environments and devices.
