The Canon BG-R20 is a dedicated battery grip designed to extend the shooting endurance of your mirrorless camera. It is compatible with the EOS R5 Mark II, EOS R5, EOS R6 Mark II, and EOS R6, allowing you to house up to two battery packs simultaneously so you can keep filming or photographing without frequent interruptions. To make vertical composition as intuitive as horizontal shooting, this grip replicates the shutter button and multi-controller, providing a comfortable and ergonomic hold for portrait orientations. Its construction features a dust and drip-resistant design, which helps protect your equipment when you are working in less-than-ideal weather conditions. Depending on your battery choice, the grip supports in-camera recharging and direct power via USB adapters PD-E1 and PD-E2, though the older LP-E6 batteries do not support USB recharging. While it works with a range of power cells including the LP-E6P and LP-E6NH, please note that the LP-E6, DR-E6, and ACK-E6 cannot be used when the grip is paired with the EOS R5 Mark II.
