To prevent false alarms, the device employs the ELSA algorithm and ignores pets up to 80 cm tall, while the sensitivity can be tuned across three different levels to suit your specific environment. Built to withstand the elements, this white detector features an IP54 protection class and operates in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +60°C. It includes an anti-masking system that alerts you if someone attempts to block the lenses with tape, paint, or an object up to 10 cm. The unit is powered by two CR123A batteries that can last up to four years, communicating with your hub via the secure Jeweller protocol over distances up to 1,700 meters. Installing the device is straightforward using the included SmartBracket panel, with a recommended mounting height of up to 1.3 meters. Its design allows for a 3° horizontal beam shift to fine-tune the coverage and a near-area detection feature to minimize blind spots. Weighing 615 g and measuring 174 × 123 mm, it integrates seamlessly with Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid, and ReX systems to deliver alarm signals in just 0.15 seconds.
