The Ajax CombiProtect (Jeweller) is a versatile security device that combines a wireless motion sensor and a glass break detector into a single unit. It monitors a wide area with a 180° viewing angle, detecting movement up to 12 meters away and the sound of breaking glass within a 9-meter radius. To prevent false alarms in homes with animals, the sensor ignores pets weighing up to 20 kg and reaching 50 cm in height. Designed for interior installation at a height of up to 2.4 meters, this white detector measures 110 × 65 mm and weighs 92 g. It operates on a CR123A battery that can last up to 5 years, communicating with Ajax hubs, range extenders, or bridges over a distance of up to 2,000 meters in open spaces. The device includes temperature compensation to maintain accuracy between -10 °C and +40 °C and features a built-in tamper protection system to alert you if someone tries to remove it. Setting up the system is straightforward thanks to the included SmartBracket mounting panel and installation kit. The unit uses the 868 MHz frequency and adaptive transmission power to ensure a stable connection, while an LED indicator provides quick visual feedback on its status.
