The Ubiquiti UniFi U7-Outdoor is a high-performance access point designed to extend your network to open-air environments. It utilizes the WiFi 7 standard to deliver fast wireless connectivity, reaching speeds of up to 4.3 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. To handle this high throughput, the device includes a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for its uplink and is powered via 802.3at PoE+, consuming 19W during operation. Its physical build is tailored for the elements, featuring a UV-stabilized polycarbonate and aluminum alloy enclosure with an IPX6 weatherproofing rating. This allows the unit to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C and withstand wind speeds up to 200 km/h. The system uses a combination of a directional internal antenna and two external omni antennas, providing a coverage area of 465 m² and supporting over 250 simultaneous clients. Installation is flexible thanks to the included wall and pole mounts, the latter of which accommodate diameters between 25 and 60 mm.
