The Smlight SLZB-06Mg26 is a versatile network coordinator designed to bridge your smart home devices using Zigbee 3.0, Thread, and Matter-over-Thread protocols. Powered by the Silicon Labs EFR32MG26 radio chip and an ESP32 control chip, it integrates seamlessly with popular platforms like Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, and ZHA. To ensure a stable and far-reaching connection, it features a high transmission power of +20 dBm and comes with two high-gain 2.4 GHz antennas, while an internal PCB antenna handles Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. This coordinator offers flexible installation options, as its ABS ventilated case is compatible with DIN rails, wall mounting, or simple double-sided adhesive tape. You can power the device via a USB-C port or through PoE using the IEEE 802.3af standard, which simplifies cabling by delivering power and data over a single Ethernet cable. For added reliability, the internal circuitry includes optoelectronic isolation between the Ethernet and USB interfaces. Managing the device is straightforward thanks to the SLZB-OS firmware, which allows for remote OTA updates of both the control and radio chips.
