The Smlight SLZB-06 is a versatile Zigbee 3.0 adapter designed to act as a coordinator or router for your smart home network. It is built around the Texas Instruments CC2652P chip and an Espressif ESP32 controller, ensuring stable communication with your devices. You can connect it to your system via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or USB Type-C, which allows you to place the adapter in the most central location of your home rather than being tethered to a server. Power is handled flexibly through either the USB port or via PoE (Power over Ethernet) following the IEEE 802.3af standard, reducing the need for extra power bricks. To ensure a strong and reliable signal, the device features an on-board +20dB amplifier paired with a rotatable +5dB external antenna. The internal hardware includes a CP2102 converter for fast data transfer and optoelectronic isolation between the Ethernet and USB ports to protect the circuitry. Its compact 160 x 22 x 24 mm frame is equipped with four status LEDs and a physical button for switching modes, making it easy to monitor and manage. Developed and tested in Ukraine, this adapter integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, and ZHA, and supports remote firmware updates for both the Zigbee and ESP32 chips through a web interface.
