This device is powered by four pre-installed CR123A batteries that can last up to 3 years, though you can also connect an external 7.5–14 V power source for continuous operation. The system integrates seamlessly with Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, and Hub Hybrid, allowing you to control the water flow through the Ajax apps, a physical button on the enclosure, or a manual mount lever. To ensure the valve doesn't seize over time, it includes a preventive maintenance feature that automatically opens and closes the valve every 7, 30, or 90 days.
