Because it is not stored under pressure, the device is safe to handle and requires no periodic maintenance or refilling throughout its five-year shelf life. When the ball comes into direct contact with fire for 10 seconds, a fuse located along its diameter triggers an activation that covers a 360-degree angle. This process releases powder effective against fire classes A, B, C, and E, protecting an area of approximately 140 to 160 square feet. To alert people nearby, the device emits a loud impulse noise between 120 dB and 140 dB. Each unit comes with a support bracket to ensure it stays securely in place until needed.
