The Gigalight GQS-MPO400-SR4CP is a QSFP+ optical transceiver designed for high-speed data transmission in 40 Gigabit Ethernet and OTU3 applications. It delivers a total bandwidth of 40 Gbps by utilizing four lanes that each operate at 11.3 Gbps, making it a reliable choice for demanding network environments. Operating at a wavelength of 850nm, this module uses an MPO/MTP connector to achieve transmission distances of up to 400 meters over OM4 fiber or 300 meters when used with OM3 fiber. It is built to be compatible with Cisco SFP/QSFP modules and adheres to RoHS 6 compliance standards for environmental safety. The device runs on a supply voltage of 3.3V within a temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C. To help manage energy costs in large installations, it features a low power mode that keeps consumption under 1.5W and can be further reduced to less than 1W via the LPMode Pin.
